You get all sorts of people experiencing a coffee shop in a short time span. There are people coming to sit and work on a laptop, first dates, breakups, interviews, old friends catching up… the interactions are numerous and we wanted a space that allowed for all of these connections to take place.

Drip House, a coffee and cocktail bar, was a fun undertaking. Creating an environment that can work from day to night and playing with the juxtaposition of light and dark allowed us to use rich materials such as marble tiles and extravagant lighting to emphasize the space and layout. There is a ribbon of light carved across the café that connects the different areas of the space and adds continuity to the copper and dark moody walls. Thought provoking art hung on the blank walls from local artists, is a Drip House staple for supporting local creatives, and we love how featured art pops against the magma that wraps the bar.

This approachable and eclectic coffee shop fits in perfectly with the Glebe neighbourhood and we hope everyone stops by for a cuppa.
